Generally, when I start to feel tempted due to hunger I drink cup of green tea, black tea, or coffee with low cal coffee creamer and sweetner (stevia). But sometimes that gets boring. Oh and I am known to cut up a few radishes or eat a pickle, both of which have about 5 calories. What do you do?

I have been drinking lemon juice in water with stevia. It's a nice change from coffee. During the day I will drink a cup of Starbuck instant coffee called VIA-with some stevia. It cuts my appetite. To cut down on hunger for my two meals I use PGX powder before a meal--it cuts my appetite.

I'm for anything that will cut my appetite. I drink lots of herbal teas with stevia, cold and hot. But I think for the summer I am going to make some "lemonade" I love that.

I drink coffee 2 or 3 times a day with fat free half and half (definitely an oxymoron, but it takes fine). I'm definitely at a standstill here - weight has stayed the same for a week and a half now. I don't drink much water. I wonder if that would help - maybe some lemon water. I too, love pickles for a pick me up!

I drink green tea to start my day , I sweeten it with stevia and generally put lemon in it. I also grind the lemon pith in a mixer and put it in a hot tea maker where the hot water comes into contact with the tea bags it pours over the lemon pith as well. A bit later I collect the pith, and use to flavor fish on a fasting day.

Also some day I have almost no hunger pang till almost supper time. I keep a bottle of of what I call choffee. 1 can chocolate nutrition drink or shake. I pour it into an empty vitamin water bottle only because it is bigger for mixing. I pour an equal amount of skim no fat milk. I add one or two instant coffee to taste.
This is somewhat bitter and full of vitamins. I add up the calories of the Milk and the vita shake. And pour into travel cup enough to equal 200 calories. There is enough left over to usually make 24oz I split into two and keep one in the fridge. This usually my Friday go to nutrition. Friday is typically the third fasting day. So having this drink to sip on sates my craving's if I'm having any and the more calories I can have later at 5pm on Friday the better. Many times I don't need it, but I use it like a tool. If I'm going from hungry to famished, and I still want to try to make it a fasting day. Cold choffee sipped for an hour adding ice. By then I know if I need to eat up to my 600 cal limit early in the day. I Strategize to get the third fasting day under my belt. I have went to bed as early as 6pm. Then awaken around 3am and eat non fasting foods Saturday. I have foods ready to eat. So won't be tempted to binge. Knowing that I can eat stick to my ribs foods later Saturday with friends. Keeps the Saturday calories from going over 1700. What I'm saying is Monday and Wednesday are typical predictable days. When Friday comes and I'm trying for 4:3 I use every trick I can think of. When my head hits the pillow Friday night and Ive only had 600calories with 100% nutrition. It's good. I'd be lying if I didn't admit to using dietic choffee to help get used to the second day of fasting. As I get used to being hungry, I get off the choffee and onto low cal vegtables and mushrooms.
