I find that sometimes I am looking forward to "fast day" and sometimes I can't wait till the day ends. LOL If I am busy on that day then the day goes by fast and eating is not something I focus on, but days where I am stuck at home alone with little to do and a whole kitchen full of food.........well, all I want is for the day to be over. I go to bed early on those days. I drink a ton of water on those days too. The day after a fast day I feel great that I got through it without cheating. I only cheated once or twice so far and switched my fast day to another day because of it.

That happened to me yesterday........It was a fast day and my mind was obsessing about food. So I went shopping. Went to Target to see the horrible styles in the plus-size department (which gave me more determination to eat healthy) and the beautiful clothes in the Misses section that don't fit me - and of course that prompted me to not cheat! After leaving Target (with a pocketbook and a scarf((no sizes there)), I immediately went to my farmer's market to gather up more veggies and fruits. Came home and made a nice salad for an early supper, snacked on a 50 calorie bag of pretzels and a diet coke, and watched a good movie in bed falling asleep earlier than usual. Not every day is a good day but the important thing for me is knowing that I don't want to give up (or in) and however long it takes, I'm going to do it. I'd be thrilled with 1 pound a week and in one year, I'd be down 52 pounds. And I'd be done and on the road to maintaining my weight loss forever. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can't wait! Now, off to Zumba.

LOL....Target's plus size department stinks! All you hear on the news is how America is full of obese over sized people....Do the department stores know that??? Nope! Hopefully I won't care about that in few months.
