So far so good here. It's really coming off sloooooooow though! Hubby is doing so much better than me but he is not diabetic either so that may be the difference.

Today is the end of my first day. By the afternoon the swelling in my face had gone down from the morning with water retention an allergies. I feel I ate a lot. Breakfast= Greek Yogurt Lunch= Heated Shrimp, v-8 juice and 2. T. of Spinach Kale Dip Snack= 5 cold cooked shrimp diced, 1 diced tomato, 1 c. of cucumbers Dinner=Turkey Oscar mayer oven roasted, v-8 juice little bit of Dijon and one T. Spinach Kale Dip from Trader Joes 8 glasses of water and I still have 30 calories left for another v-8 later. I'm not sure if I am doing this right or just missing the boat. Did experience mild headaches and slight bloating at 4:30pm before dinner.
Any input is very appreciated.
I am 148 lbs. I've tried so many things and I exercise with no success.

Howdy morgan....welcome to our forum. Swollen face...could it be the salt in the V-8? Or is it just your allergies? Headaches are common and I get them now and then. I've been on this diet for 3 months. My weight loss has been extremely slow. I am diabetic and it's so hard to lose....only ( 11 lbs in 3 months) gained a lb this past week, ugh! However, I am losing so that is all that matters.
Your food choices for your fast day sound fine. Shrimp is always a good low cal protein that I turn too also. I also do 1 scrambled egg in the morning with sliced strawberries. Lunch is usually a plate of raw veggies no dip but I guess I could add a little low cal one. I tried to stay as close to the 500 cal limit as possible due to my slow loss. Please comone on back and let us know how you do after a few more fast days. Best of luck to you!
