I've been fasting Monday's and Thursday's and weighing on Saturday. What day is everyone else weighing in? Also, I am a confessed weighoholic, I weigh myself a lot just only record once a week.

I only weigh myself every two weeks. I get too depressed and lose motivation if I don't see some weight loss...which happens if I weighed myself every day. There is always some weight loss if I do it every two weeks. I fast on Mondays and Wednesday and then I will weigh myself on Thursday morning. My husband use to weight himself every day and he stopped doing that because it was making him too obsessed with his weight loss or gain. Now he does it every other week like me.

Thanks for the input. I get really nervous about gaining so that's why I weigh myself so much. At one time I didn't have a scale and I gained a ton of weight and now I'm still trying to take it off.

I'm scared of the scale. I'm afraid of it cause in the past, I'd get so depressed by a gain that I'd say the hell with it and eat what I wanted the next day or go off my diet completely. I do not want that to ever happen ever again. I'll only weigh myself after I feel I've had a really good day, which is usually the day after a fasting day. I'm also following Weight Watchers online so I record my weight there. I know myself well and I work with "myself" accordingly. I think that's what we each have to do being we're all different and have different issues we deal with.

I weigh every morning! However, Monday morning is what I consider my real weight. I lost 30 pounds and am now trying to maintain. If I weigh more than a certain weight on Monday, I will fast for 2 days. If I am where I want to be, I only do one. I hope this works in the long run!
