I forgot about Thursday being a fast day and I made plans to have dinner with my daughter before she leaves on a trip so I'll have to do it Friday. I wish I had thought about it this morning cuz I would have fasted today to get it it of the way. No formal exercise today but a few hours of yard work in the hot sun. Barb, how are you holding up? Have you cut back on your non fasting days? Did we lose Sophie? I hope not, I was enjoying us all getting to now each other better. I usually do Monday's and Wednesday and if I can't do Wednesday I do Thursday. I am not cutting my non fast days back....hard enough to do the 2 fast days, can't imagine 3 of them. LOL Not sure where Rosie is....I send out emails to all members occasionally asking them to come on down and post.....it never seems to work. I advertized this forum on my FB page that has almost 800 likes so far...so it's getting out to many people. They are just not into discussing it I guess.

How are you doing? I've been keeping up with fasting and had my first hard day yesterday. I was hungry before I even got out of bed and it was a struggle all day. I did stay under 500 calories but I don't know how I did it. I did my weekly weigh in this morning and I had gained .4 pounds! I am so mad about it. I almost threw in the towel but after a sizable breakfast I came back to what I am striving for and got back on track.
Barb-do you track your non fasting days on My Fitness Pal? I'm just wondering if maybe I have to cut back on foods on feast days to lose weight. Also, does the meter here automatically update from MFP or do we have to do it manually?
Hope your diet is going well. Still losing?

Hope your diet is going well. Still losing? Oh how I know how hard some fast days can be....especially if I am stressing about something. Always turn to food to relieve stress...not good. I also had a bad week 2 weeks ago when I did not lose a dang thing. Very frustrating! But, I have to always look at the "whole picture". In that whole picture I've lost weight without a huge struggle.......so I am sticking to this diet because it's the only one that is going to be doable for life.
As for the "fitness pal weight tracker" Just click on it. and update your weight right on their web site. The ticker will automatically change in your profile...you don't have to repost it. Also...I don't really use Fitness Pal for non fast days....although I will go there now and then to check calories of some foods I might consider "over eating" LOL........then when I see the calories I quickly change my mind. ha! Keep at it Cyn...you are doing good because you haven't given up and that's the trick! Don't let slow weight loss stop you from your goal...it will happen, slow but sure!

I kind of liked getting it out of the way in the beginning of the week, not having to think about it for the rest of the week. So how's it going for you?

Yes Cyn...I generally do it Monday's and Wednesdays unless my hubby has off work on Wednesdays then I do it Thursdays. I like getting it out of the way too. My weight loss is in limbo...not losing hardly at all. I guess I have to really cut back on my non fast days...and I am trying. It's getting frustrating since I was doing so well in the beginning and hoping that I was not going to have to deal with adjusting my non fast day calories. I have to do something before I lose motivation. Hope all is going well for you.
